Squad 2618 handled a vehicle fire today in the first due. The squad arrived to find an engine compartment fire. #GlassboroFire
Earlier this evening, Taskforce 26 was dispatched for a house fire in the first due. Chief 2600 and Squad 2618 arrived find fire from side charlie. The fire was brought under control quickly. The fire in under investigation by the Gloucester County Fire Marshall’s Office. No injuries reported on scene. Please join us in congratulating two of our live-in firefighters, Andrew Sarna and Michael Tanzola who graduated from Rowan University today. Andrew and Michael have been a huge asset to the live-in program as well as the department. They will both be moving out and leaving our department to begin their future. Glassboro Fire units just cleared a serious MVC with entrapment in the first due. The fire department also handled the LZ for NJSP Southstar. The crash is currently under investigation by GPD. #GlassboroFire
