Between the morning of August 26th and the morning of August 27th station 26 was dispatched to three mutual aid working fires, one for the Tower, one for the Squad, and one for both the Tower and the Squad. The first was a single family dwelling in Pitman which was originally dispatched at 1234 as a smoke investigation then quickly upgraded to a house on fire, bringing Tower 2616 and Squad 2618 in to the scene. Just before midnight that night Task Force 23 was dispatched for a commercial building fire on S. Main St in Mullica Hill. Units for Harmony Fire Company arrived on scene and upgraded the assignment, bringing Squad 2618 to the scene. The next morning, at approximately 0945 am, station 29-1 was dispatched for a dwelling fire on W. Academy St. The assignment was upgraded, bringing Tower 2616 in to the cover, but they were quickly requested in to the scene by command.
